dc.description.abstract: We are glad to be bringing to you the fourth Issue of the KAB Newsletter. This is another great collection of the news around the University. We are glad that this newsletter is telling the story of Kabale University’s transformation each day.
I am grateful to the editorial team of contributors and editors that have made
it possible to have all the key activities around the university to be documented for our stakeholders. It is our goal and resolve to make each issue better than the previous.
We are grateful to the Guild Information office for their participation in taking
record of the student activities and reporting them to the key stakeholders.
It is Staff and Students that together make KAB a University of substance. We shall continue to make the best out of all we get to inform our wider stakeholder community.
It is our sincere hope that the KAB Newsletter shall continue to be an avenue
for reporting the many key activities in and around the University. We also
welcome the contributions from the wider student community and staff. We wish you enjoy reading this issue.

dc.description.abstract: The sixth edition of the KAB Newsletter highlights different
events involving the University and its stakeholders. We
are intentional about promoting nationalism by enhancing
different individuals' contributions to their community. In
this issue, we examine the history of one of the significant
contributors to the development of the Kigezi region.
Through Paulo Ngologoza's organised efforts, the Bakiga
people moved from Kigezi to other parts of Uganda.
Pokoma Barekye, his last living son, recounts the story
of his father.

dc.description.abstract: Each issue of the KAB Newsletter presents a deeper and richer view of the university, as well as life at the university and in the surrounding area. We are pleased to share with you the fifth edition of the KAB Newsletter. It is always a pleasure to have the opportunity to discuss life on and off campus. Every day, we interact with our stakeholders such as students, parents, staff, government, and the general community. Several of our successes can be attributed to their presence. As a result of most of what we do and report through our different platforms, we are grateful to enjoy a favorable reputation from our stakeholders. As we report in this newsletter the various activities undertaken by the university’s various departments, we remain optimistic that the pursuit of a healthy relationship will continue to be a priority. As a university, we continually expand our horizons through teaching,
research, and community engagement. As a result, we also gain a lot of interesting stories. There are no words to describe how appreciative I am of the indefatigable team of contributors, most of whom hail from the Communications, Branding and Marketing department. You all make this newsletter such a worthwhile source of information. We hope that our readers will find the newsletter engaging, informative, and interactive.
